Also it is currently undergoing A4C.Job Reference 532-ND139.05 Job Title RESEARCH PSYCHOLOGY ASSISTANT Area of Work Psychology Services, Older Person's Mental Health Services Employer North Dorset PCT Department Forston Clinic Location Dorchester Salary £14,275 - £16,056 pa Hours per Week 37.5 Job Type Fixed Term Temporary Closing Date 13th July 2005 We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic psychology graduate for a 12-month contract, to replace our current Research Psychology Assistant who starts Clinical training in September. The successful candidate should be computer literate, with some research experience and have at least a 2.1 honours degree in psychology with eligibility for graduate basis for registration with the BPS, and able to travel between bases. The role is to support service delivery through their involvement in various research, evaluation and service related projects for Older Adults. This is an ideal post for someone wanting to gain research experience before going onto clinical training. The post will provide you with an opportunity to expand research skills and there is a strong possibility they will have their name co-authored on some published work. Alongside the research there will be an opportunity to carry out clinical work (both assessment and treatment) under the supervision of the Consultant Clinical Psychologist.
