Hi,
I'm Claire, I'm new to the forum but not so new to the group! I'm a Clinical PhD student at Southampton supervised by Prof Sue Clarke, and I'm looking to apply for Assistants posts in the region (half-time) whilst I finish writing up my pHD - so from October 2006 onwards (or Jan if posts are available then when my funding ends and I'm officially unemployed!) I just wondered if anyone knew of any half time posts in the area, or if anyone had any ideas about new projects that might be starting this year. Obv I'll do all the usual searches and write off to every clin psy I know- but I just wondered if you guys might have some inside info you would be willing to share!! My exp is mainly in Personality disorders, self-harm, psychosis, (my main interests) & phobias and a little learning disabilities although I'm definately interested in broadening my horizons! Direct therapy experience would be a major plus as I hope to leran as much as possible from the post, but obv can't be too fussy Wink

and I have research experience (tends to happen when you do a phD!) Anyway if anyone thinks they will be leaving their post then or has any fantastic ideas that they wish to share I'm all ears! I'm in the States at the moment working as a research affiliate but am gonna be home sadly Sad

I'll keep you posted re: any AP jobs I might come across. It's a bit of pain to job-hunt AP posts this time of the year Sad
