Hi there,
I thought it might be helpful to have a thread to talk about the benefits of applying to courses. Its easy to feel despondant about the process -so I thought a positive thread might help us keep some morale!
My 1st thoughts on this are -
It focuses your mind on important issues when you are preparing forms and for interviews.
It helps you realise all the hard work you are doing how much you are learning.
Excellent motivation for learning!

Hmm, positive things about applying... Tricky question...
Well, I suppose each time we apply it means we're getting closer to getting on the course (at least in principle!)
It's an opportunity to look at what you've done with your life so far and say yep, I did that!
When I read back my form and I've written a sentence with buzz-words or something in it, it makes me feel intelligent!
