Hey,

It would be great if we could meet more often - being an AP on the Isle of Wight means there are few of us and it would be great to meet with others.

Would anyone fancy meeting once a month really informally? I would benefit from hearing what other people do in their posts. We could also look at future interview questions for the doctorate (some of us may be gettting interview letters over the next few months). Also some of us could maybe just talk about what we do in our posts, the pros and cons - perhaps people could then feedback on what they have heard - a bit like peer supervision? I really want to be meeting with other AP's in this area!!

I dont want to step on anyones toes and maybe things have already been planned - but if not im up for organising a few things - cant guarantee how fantastic they will be but surely something is better than not meeting at all? Im sure if we could get things up and running well quite quickly.

Hi Izzy,

Hopefully you got the email about the next meeting, I have also posted details on the forum.

seeing as that's in about a month's time, maybe we could have a chat before the speaker comes in to figure out a way of making meetings more frequent - at the moment we're just relying on when speakers can make a date, but I agree, there's no reason why we shouldn't meet more regularly even if we don't have a speaker...
