Friday 9th March, 12.30 - 4.30 at Salisbury District Hospital, education centre, level 5 SDH North. Workshop facilitated by Dr Nigel North Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Dr Kate Jenkins Clinical Psychologist. The aim of the workshop is to discuss preparing for clinical doctorate interviews using vignettes and research case studies. Dr North has previously been a selector for the Southampton course and is a frequent lecturer on the doctorate programme.
Friday 23rd March, 2pm onwards at Tatchbury Mount Hospital, (near Southampton) Sterne Road building, Room 1. Dr Cheryl Jones Clinical Psychologist will be discussing the application of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with the learning disabled population, and ways in which we can adapt CBT to meet these specific needs.
Gap over the main interview period...
Friday 4th May, time and venue to be confirmed. Mr John Williams Consultant Clinical Psychologist will be discussing sex offender treatment programmes for men with learning disabilities, covering forensic and learning disability areas of clinical psychology.
Friday 25th May, time and venue to be confirmed. Discussion of eating disorders services... More details to follow...
